UAM PhD Week 2025

During the week of the 26th May until 30st May 2025, from the Doctoral School we are promoting several activities to create a meeting point for our PhD candidates. Aditionally, we intend to highlight the research carried out by training researchers while they complete their PhD.

26th May - Cantoblanco Campus

MORNING SESSION

10:00. Inauguration of the UAM Doctoral Week.

10:30. Cross-cutting session. PhD in digital times: writing, communication and academic care. Session I. From paper to the cloud: horizons for communicating science.

15:00. Cross-cutting session (continuation). PhD in digital times: writing, communication and academic care. Session II. Saying well, doing better: communication and ethics in the doctorate.

Given the limited capacity, PhD students who are interested in attending the two sessions of the day must register, until full capacity is reached in order of registration, through SIGMA at:

Attendance to this activity will be certified and can be included in the Doctoral Activities Document.

 


27th to 29th May

Specific meetings for every PhD program. PhD candidates will show the development of their research within the framework of their PhD program. They are open for every member of the university community.

 


30th May - Cantoblanco Campus

MORNING SESSION

Plaza Mayor & Sala Polivalente UAM

10:00. Poster exhibition representative of the university's doctoral programs.

It will be a chance to show representative examples of the research carried out in each PhD program.

Sala Polivalente UAM

13:00. Closing ceremony, lecture.

  • Scientific advice to improve policy decisions.
