Next public defenses at UAM
The Secretary of the examining board will fill in the ‘Thesis Form’ (download area) and will send it to EDUAM via email (doctorado.gestion@uam.es / doctorado.medicina@uam.es for doctoral students of doctoral programmes of the Faculty of Medicine), including the PhD candidate in CC. This message will state the date, place and time for the defence. Also, if the thesis is defended in blended format (in person and online), it will indicate which members will participate by video conference. This email must be sent to EDUAM at least 8 days before the defence date.
IMPORTANT. In order to facilitate the attendance and participation of the university community in the defence ceremony, it is an essential requirement that the date of the defence is announced sufficiently in advance on the EDUAM website. Failure to notify the reading date by the secretaly of the examining boar will mean that, in the absence of a public announcement, the thesis cannot be defended.
On a weekly basis (Fridays), and based on this information, the list of theses to be defended in the coming weeks/months will be updated.
