The suitability of the Research Program presented by the student will be considered a prior criterion.
Once these filters are passed, the student's file will be graded as established by the VERIFICATION report, namely:
- The qualifications obtained by the candidate in previous undergraduate and master's studies (65%).
- The CV of the candidate (35%)
In the evaluation of the CV the following merits will be taken into account:
- Seminars and courses
- National and international congresses
- Knowledge of languages
- Stays in foreign centers
- Publications.
The endorsement of a member of the doctoral program will be recommended. Although this is not a condition, the Commission will also take it into account in the selection.
To assess the suitability of the candidate, the Coordinator or by delegation a member may request a personal interview from the candidates at the beginning of the admission process, without prejudice to the fact that informational actions are carried out throughout the study period in the Program.
On the other hand, preference will be given to:
1º) FPI/FPU Scholars.
2º) Students who have completed their Master's degree at the UAM.
3º) The most outstanding records and curricula of national and international external students will also be released.
Once this issue has been resolved, the Committee will designate the Director(s) and Tutor of the thesis.
