Northumbria University International Staff Training Week 2019 - Save the Date

Staff training: UCA - International Teaching Forum - November 14th/15th, 2019

We are pleased to announce that Université Clermont Auvergne will organize the 4th edition of the International

Teaching Forum at Clermont-Ferrand (FRANCE), on November 14 and 15, 2019. 

In line with the previous three conferences (two were held at Shanghai Normal University in China in 2016 and 2017

and one at Utah Valley University in the United States in 2018), the overall objective of the 4th International Teaching

Forum will be to address innovative pedagogical practices in higher education in different countries. Over two days,

teachers and researchers together will work on issues related to the contributions and limits of innovative teaching

practices, based on experiments conducted more particularly (but not exclusively) in the field of communication and

management. For this edition, the theme of pedagogical innovation will be addressed from the perspective of interculturality

and skills. Papers will discuss how teaching pedagogies have fostered the creation of a context favorable to interculturality

and facilitated the acquisition of transversal skills.

You will find attached the call for papers of the International Teaching Forum.

This forum is eligible for Erasmus + Staff Mobility for Training.

We have a limited number of available places for participants who want just to attend the conference without presenting

University of Ljubljana Staff Training Week (21-25 October 2019)

ERASMUS+ Staff Training Week "Together is better«, focused at interprofessional teaching and cooperation in the field of health.

The STT week will be organised at the three faculties: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Ljubljana, focused on their specifics so you will have the chance to get to know each of them, their academic and student society as well as our capital city Ljubljana.

Técnico Lisboa | International Staff Training Week 2019 : Boosting the Internationalization in HEIs

We have the pleasure to invite you to register for Técnico Lisboa’s (University of Lisbon) International Staff Training Week to be held from 7 to 11 October, 2019.

The five-day programme has a unique format which will include guest speakers, regular sessions, debates, workshops, along with the opportunity to disseminate your university at the international exhibition (I-Day) and World Café, cultural activities and social events. The outcome is to exchange experiences and know-how and participants who will learn from good practices of the partner institutions, obtaining the skills that are relevant for their jobs and their professional development.

The International Staff Training Week is open to international relations professionals, administrative staff from international partners and non-partner Universities, as well as staff members from all Portuguese universities.

This initiative will enhance skills in 5 main areas:

1.             International Visibility;

2.             Dynamic Networks and Strategic Partnerships;

3.             International Student Recruitment Strategies;

4.             International Events/Fairs @ 2 Campi (International Partner Exhibition & World Café); According to availability & first come, first serve basis;

5.             Job Shadowing Meetings.

If we receive more applications for the exhibition than the number of booths, there will be a selection process. Previous editions received more than 1000 students.

7th International Staff Week - 25.-29.11.2019 University of South Bohemia - Czech Republic

We are pleased to invite you to the 7th International Staff Week at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.

Our International Staff Week is designed mainly for participants working in the field of International Relations. The programme includes workshop sessions, networking events and presentation and „tasting“ of our university and its faculties. During the leisure time you can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere of the city and the visit of Český Krumlov (UNESCO site). The International Staff Week is a great opportunity to get to know the University of South Bohemia, meet new colleagues and exchange experience and good practices in the field of International Relations and internationalization.

Erasmus+ Staff Week University of Limerick - Library Staff

We are delighted to inform you that the Glucksman Library at the University of Limerick are hosting an Erasmus+ Staff Week from Tuesday 14th January to Thursday 16th January 2020. 

The theme of this event will be Systematic Reviews and Libraries. The Glucksman Library staff team (Liz Dore, Librarian, Education and Health Sciences, Pattie Punch, Librarian, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Isabelle Delaunois, Librarian, University Hospital Limerick) will  open the conversation on how they support the systematic review process for staff and students and will share their approaches and best practice. Practical hands on experience will be facilitated.
