From the implementation of the PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology (RD 99/2011) until the academic year 2019-2020, 37 theses have been defended, of which 34 obtained the qualification of “Sobresaliente Cum Laude” and 3 the qualification of “Sobresaliente”. Of them 5 theses have been awarded with an Outstanding Doctorate Award (the prizes corresponding to the academic year 2019-2020 are still to be awarded).

Doctoral Thesis associated to the PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology will be presented and defended according to the procedures approved by UAM in June 1st, 2012 “Procedimiento relativo al tribunal, defensa y evaluación de la tesis doctoral en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid”
For doctoral theses presented as publications compendium (art 8 from Procedimiento), the Academic Board of the Programme requests a minimum three original research publications in indexed scientific journals.
