The Master's Degree in Molecular Biomedicine aims to provide advanced, multidisciplinary, and integrating scientific training in the area of Molecular Biology of Health and Disease, aimed primarily at research on the molecular bases of human pathology, as well as the discovery and development of new preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures based on the knowledge of Molecular Biosciences. In short, this Master aims to train professionals with a solid cellular and molecular background who can act on the border between basic research and clinical research and are capable of promoting applied and "translational" research.
The Master in Molecular Biomedicine contemplates 5 areas of specialization oriented to specific pathologies (cancer, immune and inflammatory diseases, neurological diseases, rare diseases and cardiovascular diseases). The teachings of the Master will provide current knowledge of the cellular and molecular bases, as well as the pathophysiology of these diseases, as well as advanced experimental training in the laboratory that includes some of the main research techniques in Molecular Biomedicine.
