One of the most successful teaching activities of the Department has been the annual celebration of the “MiniCongress of Pharmacology for Students of Medicine”, the first edition of which was held in 1977 and which until the 2012-13 academic year was integrated into the subject General Pharmacology, in the Third year of the Bachelor's Degree. This activity has always had extraordinary success and has been greatly appreciated by the students of Medicine, who carry out an experimental, clinical or epidemiological research work, which is subsequently exposed by themselves in a day with a full scientific congress format.
With the current implementation of the Undergraduate Studies, the “Minicongreso” has been integrated into the subject Introduction to Biomedical Research, where this exciting activity continues to be organized.
