Though the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid promotes the mobility of its students via national and international mobility programmes. All students enrolled at the UAM in studies leading to an official degree or postgraduate qualification can benefit from these programmes.
The mobility programmes allow students to complete part of their course at another university in Spain or abroad with the guarantee that the studies completed will be recognized on their return. In this way, they benefit from the possibility of enriching themselves both academically and personally. Students will continue to be enrolled at the UAM throughout their period of studies at the other university, where they will be exempt from the enrolment fee as this should be paid at their university of origin. In order to benefit from a mobility grant, the student should meet certain academic and foreign language requirements as established in each scholarship scheme. Students have access to various different programmes, depending on their geographical preferences.
