Attendance of doctoral candidates to workshops, specialized courses, and meetings related to the research area of the doctoral thesis will be encouraged, These activities can take place in a local, national, or international environment..

For instance, doctoral candidates from the PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology usually attend the Pharmacologists from Madrid meeting (FARMADRID) or those by the Spanish Group of Neurotransmission and Neuroprotection (GENN), with free registration and organized by Instituto de Investigación Teófilo Hernando. These small-scale meetings usually provide PhD candidates with a first poster and oral presentation, thus providing training for other larger-scale meetings. Activity accreditation
