Selene E. Psoma

Full Professor of Ancient History at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Philosophy (2018). PhD in Ancient History from the Université Paris-Sorbonne (1996). Her main research areas are: Ancient History, Ancient Greece, numismatics, epigraphy, institutions, economics (in École Pratique des Hautes Études de Paris between 1989-1995), History of Law and topography in mainland Ancient Greece and Hellenistic Asia Minor. She has worked at the Department of Ancient History of the Université de Lille (1994-1995), at the University of Thessaly (1999), and at the Numismatic Museum of Athens (1997-1999), a city in which she took part as a researcher for the Institute for Greek and Roman Antiquity (K.E.R.A.), and where she was elected as Associate Professor in 2007, becoming Full Professor in 2018.
