Deadlines

Application periods for the academic year 2025/2026:
 

•        First Period: April 29th, 2025 – September 30th 2025.
  
         Application resolution maximum October 14th 2025.
  • Enrollment 16th-31st October 2025
    
     
•        Second Period: October 27th, 2025– January 31st, 2026
  
        Application resolution maximum February 12th 2026.
  • Enrollment 17th February - 1st March 2026

 

Pre-admission letter

In order to apply for certain pre-doctoral grants/contracts, it may be necessary to justify pre-admission to a doctoral program. This letter of pre-admission will be issued by the coordinator of the program of interest.

To obtain this letter of pre-admission, valid for the following academic year, you must fill in the model that you will find on this page (download area, "Modelo Carta de Preadmisión") and send it to doctorado.gestion@uam.es (subject: “Carta de Preadmisión”) together with the "Aval de Dirección" ("Endorsement of Doctoral Thesis" or "Researcher's confirmation"), which you will find in the download area of the “documentation” page for admission. 

This letter is not a formal admission, nor does it entitle you to admission and subsequent enrollment in the PhD Program, so that, even if you obtain the pre-doctoral grant, it is essential to complete the application for admission by following the steps described here, within the periods indicated and providing the necessary documentation.
