Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS)
Quality assurance, within the framework of the European Higher Education Area, is the instrument for sharing values, expectations and good practices and ensuring transparency and mobility. Quality assurance includes evaluation, accreditation and auditing processes with the ultimate aim of demonstrating the quality of qualifications.
The Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, aware of the importance of quality as a strategic factor and in accordance with current regulations, has implemented the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS).
The IQAS includes a set of procedures that contemplate the Centre's quality policy, define the composition and functions of the Internal Quality Assurance Committee (CGIC) and integrate and organise the different structures, actions and instruments of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies.
The ultimate aim of the IQAS is to ensure the continuous control, evaluation, review and improvement of the degrees taught at the Centre. Specific information on the monitoring and improvement of each of the degrees of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences can be found on their respective websites.
