The Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences of the UAM offers several official Masters, whose curricula have been verified by the Council of Universities. These studies lead to the obtaining of the official University Master's degree in the corresponding subject. The Master in International Economics is taught in English. For the other masters, the teaching language is Spanish.
Official Master's degrees last between one and two years, which correspond to 60 and 120 ECTS credits. They offer advanced theoretical-practical training, divided into compulsory and optional subjects, external internships and end-of-Master work, which must be publicly defended.
In order to access the official Masters, you must have an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area, which entitles you, in the country that issued the degree, to access Master's courses. Graduates may also gain access to higher education systems outside the European Higher Education Area without the need for the homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they authorise access to postgraduate studies in the country issuing the degree.
