Studying in our Faculty and participating in campus life at the UAM is an unforgettable experience. The Faculty turned 50 in 2018 and, far from entering “mid-life crisis,” has become even more dynamic and enterprising. The growing interaction with many and highly diverse economic and business institutions means that 90% of students find work within a year of graduation. Professors also carry out important research and consulting projects that enable them to get to know and to disseminate better the knowledge of how the economic-business world functions.
Another sign of dynamism is the progressive internationalization of our Faculty. The agreements signed with universities throughout the world are making it possible for one third of our students to complete part of their degree in other countries. And the European Higher Education Area has contributed, among other things, to making classes more participatory and bringing the subjects into greater agreement with the demands of employers.
The Faculty of Economics and Business of the UAM offers a wide variety of undergraduate study programmes, which share some common characteristics, such as classes with a balanced combination of theory and practice, international mobility, continuous contact with economic firms and institutions, outside internships, and easy professional placement in positions related to the studies pursued.
