Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary field that study the brain in all its aspects. This talk will focus on complex brain networks and information processing between different brain areas, that is, brain connectivity. Firstly, I will show how to obtain brain signal and discuss different types of brain signal. Next, I will show how to calculate brain networks and provide an example of impaired information processing in psychiatric disorders as schizophrenia and the correlation with symptoms. Lastly, I will discuss and present results about changes in brain connectivity due to training interventions using new technology as virtual reality, video games and neurofeedback.
