Students will gain capacity for their integration in a multidisciplinary team. Students will demonstrate professional expertise, capacity for independent learning, knowledge updating, consciousness of ethical and professional responsibility, quality and improvement motivation, etc. At the same time, they will find improved employment opportunities in companies and technological centers, and a stimulating development of entrepreneurial projects.
Internships will be preferably carried out in collaborating companies and entities, both from national and international. A tutor, among those teaching in the Master's Degree, shall be assigned to all internships. The fundamental goal shall be establishing project specifications, orienting the student during the internship, guaranteeing that the deadlines set are being met, and ultimately, evaluating educational and proficiency progress. Students who develop their work in an entity not connected to the Escuela Politécnica shall be furthermore assigned a professional tutor in possession of a higher education degree. Professional tutors shall belong to the company in which the work will be carried out, and they shall work closely with the academic tutor defining student activities and tasks and monitoring students throughout internship.
The Master's Degree shall, in all cases and in coordination with EPS Internships & Projects Office [ES only], arrange and manage the corresponding Collaboration Agreements.
