Marta Gómez Barrero, postgraduate student of the EPS, has been awarded the second prize in the area of Engineering and Architecture in the XII “Arquímedes” Contest 2013 of Introduction to the Scientific Investigation with her project “Phising: new attack to a multimodal biometric system.” This project has been supervised by Javier Galbally Herrero and Julián Fierrrez Aguilar. In addition, the UAM has been awarded a special prize for being the institution with the highest number of projects selected to the final phase of the Contest.
