M. Teresa Quirós received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), livhere she carried out her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Benito Alcaide and Dr Pedro Almendros (2014). During her Ph.D. she completed a short stay at the University of Heidelberg in the group of Prof. A. · Stephen K. Hashmi (November 2012-January 2013). On March 2014, she joined Dr María Paz Muñoz's research group at the University of East Anglia (UK), wh.ere she was first a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate (March 2014-March 2015) and then a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow (April 2015-April 2016). From 2017 to 2020 she worked as a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is currently working as Profeyor Ayudante Doctor at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.
