Our Directorate has about 60 staff providing services and tools to ensure ECB staff can access and draw fully on internal and external knowledge and information. Together with colleagues from across the Division, the Library team is currently designing a knowledge management programme, which will transform the library into a collaboration and knowledge hub. The hub will offer services that help to locate, share and re-use information, and will use new technologies to enhance the search experience. In your role as a Legal Trainee, you will be part of a dynamic and service-oriented Library team of 11 members of staff responsible for supporting the ECB’s business areas in their research activities and for managing the library’s print and online collections. You will also be involved in library transformation activities, such as the implementation of the new library space concept, the development of training sessions on search skills, the design of new search solutions and other occasional activities. You will work closely with the law librarian and with lawyers across the ECB, especially in the legal knowledge management team.
