International Master in Geosciences, Aix-Marseille University 2024-25

AMU International Master in Geosciences (Aix-en-Provence) scholarships

The Earth, Planetary and Environment Sciences Master program (STPE) of Aix-Marseille University will offer up to 3 scholarships for international students next academic year (2024-2025). These scholarships, of 1000 euros/month, aim at supporting international students for a 5-month semester (Sep to Jan, 30 ECTS) in our Geosciences curriculum at the M2 level (MSc 2nd year). The main topics of our program are paleoclimatology, Earth and planetary surface dynamics, geomorphology and active tectonics.

Classes, all in English, will be taught at CEREGE, a research and teaching center affiliated with Aix-Marseille University. The second semester (Feb to Jun, 30 ECTS) is dedicated to a research internship, with financial support provided by the research teams hosting the students. Application procedure

The selection for the attribution of the scholarships will be based on academic criteria. The minimal requirements are a European M1 level or 4 years of undergraduate studies.

An application package containing the following items should be sent to Vincent Godard ( before 31/03/24.

  • Cover letter explaining your interest in the program, with the name and email of 2 academic references
  • CV
  • Academic records (including a list of classes followed, and grades obtained)
