Projects for new teaching development s

Participation in projects for new teaching development

In 2005, the Board of Directors of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid approved the first call for proposals in order to adapt the university degrees to the new EHEA framework. Since then, it has sought to cover needs deriving from new official degrees design and implementation, aiming to improve our academic offer quality through teaching innovation. In this regard, it is worth mentioning specially the 2009 proposal which targeted to implant the new Undergraduate Degree Studies (Bologna Plan) for the academic year 2009-2010.

In 2010, the UAM+CSIC Campus de Excelencia Internacional program started a new stage that will mark the University agenda for the coming years. The 2010 proposal was designed to seek articulation of some of the initiatives concerning Teaching Improvement and EHEA Implementation and Adaptation from the CEI UAM+CSIC project; this proposal can be called a success in participation and results concerning the pursued objectives. Since 2011, the proposals for teaching development projects are addressed to consolidate the CEI UAM+CSIC project, settling the lines in which these new teaching projects could be framed.

The participation of Science Faculty professors in these projects has been successively increasing over these years.
