Marina González Sánchez was born in Barcelona in 1994. She obtained her Chemistry degree in 2017 at the Universidad de Extremadura (UEx) in Badajoz. She did her final project about Synthesis and Reactivity of a Tioisomünchnona Derived from D-Glucosamine in the group QUOREX, under supervision of Prof. José Luis Jiménez Requejo and the Prof. Martín Ávalos González.
In 2018 she did the master’s degree in organic chemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Her research was based in the Design and Synthesis of Multitarget Drugs for Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease under supervision of Dr. Juan Antonio Páez Prosper in the Institute of Medicinal Chemistry (IQM-CSIC).
In April of 2019 she joined the research group of Prof. David González Rodríguez (MSMn) for the Non-Covalent Synthesis of Self-assembled Nanotubes.
