It has a 405 nm blue diode laser, argon laser (458, 476, 488, 496, 514 nm), 561 nm DPSS laser and a helium-neon laser (594, 633 nm), four internal adjustable bandwidth and wavelength detection channels and an external transmitted light detector for clear field images.
Besides being equipped with a conventional scanner, it has an additional resonant scanner for obtaining quick images and a special acousto-optical beam splitter (AOBS) to obtain several colors simultaneously.
The lenses available for this equipment are: 5X/0.15, 10X0.4, 20X/0.7 MULTI-IMMERSION CORR LAMBDA BLUE (special chromatic correction in the blue range for applications with fluorescent proteins), 40X/1.25-0.75 OIL, 63X/1.4-0.6 OIL CORR LAMBDA BLUE, 63X/1.3 GLY (with 280 μm working distance, for thick samples).
Motorized stage, with the possibility of thermostatized chamber assembly with adequate CO2 and humidity for in vivo experiments.
Possibility of: electronic zoom, rotation of the scanning beam.
Acquisition of multidimensional images up to 8D: x, y, z, t, α,λ, i, d (image area, height, time, rotation, wavelength, intensity, xy location and tile scan).
Spectral studies on emission calculation of an unknown fluorochrome or autofluorescence, elimination of the crossing between fluorochromes with overlapping emission.
