Leica TCS SP2 Confocal Microscope
It has six laser lines in the visible spectrum (458, 476, 488, 514, 561 and 633 nm) and two lines in the ultraviolet spectrum (351, 364 nm), three internal adjustable bandwidth and wavelength detection channels and an external transmitted light detector for clear field images.
Available lenses: 5X/0.15, 10X/0.4, 20X/0.7 OIL, 40X/1.25-0.75 OIL, 63X/1.4-0.6 OIL, 100X1.4-0.7 OIL.
Motorized stage, with the possibility of thermostatized chamber assembly with CO2 for in vivo experiments.
Possibility of: electronic zoom, rotation of the scanning beam.
Acquisition of multidimensional images up to 8D: x, y, z, t, α,λ, i, d (image area, height, time, rotation, wavelength, intensity, xy location and tile scan).
Spectral studies on emission calculation of an unknown fluorochrome or autofluorescence, elimination of the crossing between fluorochromes with overlapping emission.
