  • Scanning Electron Microscopy laboratory Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy Dispersive X ray Laboratory

The scanning electron microscope is an instrument that allows the observation and characterization of inorganic and organic materials for the study of surfaces.

  • FEG-Scanning Electron Microscopy laboratory Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscopy Laboratory

The electron microscope field emission is a tool that allows the observation and characterization of materials for the study of surfaces.

  • Convallaria Biomapping (Lily of the valley). Dolores Morales and Ana I. de la Heras Confocal Microscopy Laboratory

The Confocal Microscopy allows the study of samples with fluorescent label, doing optical sections in them. The sample is excited point by point with a laser. The emission wavelength of this sample is bigger than the excitation one, and this emission happens for a small diaphragm (pinhole) which allows the detection of an alone focal plane.

  • Transmission Electron Microscope Transmission Electron Microscopy Laboratory

Transmission Electron Microscopy has contributed significantly to the knowledge of the cell. Using a thin beam of accelerated electrons as a light source, gives the high resolution of the Electron Microscopy. This makes it an indispensable tool in many fields of Biology, Medicine and Materials Science.

  • Stereoscopy and triple target Scientific Image Digital Processing

El tratamiento digital de la imagen científica permite procesar y analizar estas imágenes para obtener resultados con calidad suficiente para su publicación y extraer datos numéricos relevantes para su manejo e interpretación.
