Catedrática de Historia Antigua en la School of Philosophy de la National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2018). Doctora en Historia Antigua por la Université Paris-Sorbonne (1996). Sus principales áreas de investigación son: Historia Antigua, Grecia Antigua, numismática, epigrafía, instituciones, economía (realizando dichos estudios en la École Pratique des Hautes Études de París entre 1989-1995), Historia del Derecho y topografía en la Antigua Grecia Contingental y el Asia Menor Helenística. Ha trabajado en el Departamento de Historia Antigua de la Université de Lille (1994-1995), en la University of Thessaly (1999) y en el Numismatic Museum of Athens (1997-1999), ciudad en la que participó como investigadora para el Institute for Greek and Roman Antiquity (K.E.R.A.), y donde fue nombrada Profesora Adjunta en 2007, pasando a ser Catedrática en 2018.
